Job Description
The Director, Global Small Business Loyalty plays a crucial role in shaping and managing Small Business Loyalty offerings, and specifically, Visa SavingsEdge. This role will lead and focus on Global Small Business Loyalty strategy, roadmap, and product and program management and evolution of existing Small Business loyalty programs. The role involves working with Regional Small Business teams to identify needs, gaps and requirements to enhance, build, and deploy loyalty solutions that can scale for growth while addressing market needs. The role will also play an active part in managing external vendors to ensure deliverables are executed on time, on strategy, and on budget. A combination of experience supporting program and product management, business development, loyalty programs, operations and account management is ideal.
Responsibilities
Partnership development and Program Management
Responsible for supporting and expanding Visa Small Business Loyalty solutions and strategies that drive cardholder engagement, address business objectives across regions, and support Visa’s Global Small Business core product growth
Manage Loyalty vendor partnerships. Evaluate external partner offerings and solutions to determine applicability to small business and feasibility of incorporating into and/or integrating with Visa platforms
Strategize with Regional leads, Account Executives and Client Delivery and Product Delivery teams to understand market objectives, align on needs, and leverage customer insights to identify new platform opportunities that deliver global efficiencies while addressing local needs capabilities
Communicate with business leaders and technology stakeholders. Translate complex technical requirements into digestible content that can be leveraged to evangelize product roadmap among a diverse audience
Pitch and market partnership opportunities to Merchants and Clients
Utilize stakeholder feedback, reporting and program metrics to identify opportunities for program optimization and product enhancements. This may include but is not limited to improving website functionality, program messaging, customer support, technical enhancements and integrations with Visa products
Manage Business offers, including offer content from procurement, contract negotiation, offer maintenance within Visa tools, offer renewals and reporting
Maintain platform and security updates to ensure Cyber Security compliance
Product development and Go To Market
Develop keen understanding of Visa solutions and product offerings. Partner with internal teams to identify integration opportunities to support SMB Loyalty product growth
Ensure that strategy, roadmaps, program functionality and benefits are articulated into feasible product requirements during the build phase, and that the same elements are well articulated to clients, cardholders, prospects and internal stakeholders during the GTM, launch and sell in phase
Develop and present business cases utilizing market research, program results, and comparative knowledge to help drive interest and engagement in Visa SavingsEdge
Work with Product Marketing to develop materials to educate and inform internal and external stakeholders of platform features and benefits
Educate and empower key stakeholder teams such as Sales, Product and Marketing to drive adoption of Visa SavingsEdge with Issuers, Fintechs and Processors
Write, update, and maintain process documents, technical requirements and sell in decks
Operations and Analytics
Work with internal stakeholders such as technology, risk, legal, rules and client support services to enhance, deliver and manage platforms
Establish key performance metrics to measure platform success on an ongoing basis
Analyze program metrics and create program dashboards. Utilize program metrics to inform key stakeholders of growth and opportunities. Identify gaps that allow for program optimization and product enhancement opportunities
Establish and codify processes to ensure customer support and successful cardholder experience with Visa SavingsEdge
Manage monthly financial processes including invoicing, reconciliation and monitoring of cashback fund balances to ensure smooth on-going program management
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/
MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years
of work experience with a PhD
•We are looking for a Leader with extensive experience (12+ years) in product
management, preferably in the payments, Small Business and Loyalty space
•Exceptional product management leader with acumen and a record of
developing, managing and growing products and programs, with focus on
loyalty programs preferred
•Demonstrated ability to grow market-leading, differentiated and innovative
products through sound vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution
•Knowledge of Small Business and Commercial payment trends, loyalty
solutions and competitive landscape
•Ability to decipher technical requirements and ensure compliance with required
security, privacy, and key control mandates
•Familiarity with loyalty providers and mechanics of loyalty programs
•Ability to manage a complex set of deliverables, pivot when needed to address
high priority projects, and collaborate and coordinate across cross-functional
teams - including technical and non-technical resources – to achieve results
•Knowledge/experience with web applications, APIs, and experience bringing
products to market
•Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results with internal and external
partners, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and that risks to project
deliverables are proactively addressed
•Demonstrated ability to build relationships, motivate others, influence, and
build consensus, within teams and with Senior Leadership
•Proactive self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to assess,
evaluate, and prioritize projects and workflows and come up with solutions to
achieve timely results
•Showcase dynamic presentation skills with ability to communicate clearly,
concisely, and secure stakeholder alignment and collaboration in support of
growing Visa SavingsEdge
•Ability to work independently in a matrixed environment
•Demonstrate integrity and honesty in both internal and external relationships
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 142,700.00 to 258,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
