Job Description
This role will challenge your quantitative skills by involving you in budget modeling, financial reporting, benchmarking, and ad hoc analytics to support our global employee compensation program. You will leverage advanced data tools and methodologies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation and market data. The Compensation Analyst needs to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all compensation and market data in the information systems and be able to work closely with People Team colleagues and other functional groups.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to utilize your quantitative expertise in supporting the salary administration process, including the annual compensation review, salary increase budgets, bonus accrual/forecasting, equity planning, and structure adjustments
Collaborate with Finance to deliver data-driven financial accrual reports and projections with precision and accuracy
Develop sophisticated budget models and financial accrual reports with meticulous attention to detail and diligence, ensuring high accuracy through advanced quantitative methods and collaborative team efforts
Collaborate with leading market data vendors (e.g., Aon/Radford, Willis Towers Watson, Mercer) to leverage their insights and tools effectively
Serve as the subject matter expert for market data processes, tools, and timelines, utilizing platforms like Salary.com’s CompAnalyst and Workday
Facilitate a global benchmarking exercise across multiple regions and market survey vendors
Conduct cost modeling and impact analyses related to compensation program changes
Support development of global total rewards benchmarking insights
Monitor our data through robust validation and reconciliation processes to ensure optimal data integrity
Support compensation team during compensation planning process
Interface with Finance, HRIT, HR Systems, and Global Compensation teams to support day-to-day functions as well as project specific activities
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience
- Experience in a compensation function, preferably within a public company
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools, with a collaborative approach to data analysis and problem-solving.
- Must be customer-service oriented
- Exceptional critical thinking and quantitative analytical skills, with a growth mindset focused on continuous learning and professional development
- Strong organization, planning, and project management skills
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced, team- oriented environment, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere
- Exceptionally resourceful, detail-oriented, discipline to deliver complete and accurate results
- Actuarial or Accounting experience a plus
- CCP - Certified Compensation Professional certification or progress towards CCP a plus
- Workday Management System experience preferred
- Salary.com’s CompAnalyst System experience preferred
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 102,600.00 to 145,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
