Job Description

Join our Center of Excellence (COE) team in Commercial and Money Movement Solutions, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence and cybersecurity for CMS applications. Our team ensures we achieve 100% compliance with Visa's cybersecurity policies, maintains a robust and resilient infrastructure, and enhances developer experience and productivity through efficiency improvements. We are looking for a highly motivated team member to contribute to our mission by leveraging their expertise in data analysis, visualization, and metric development. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support governance, oversee projects, communicate insights, and maintain operational excellence all while continuously seeking to improve our processes and product offerings.


Essential Functions

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced SQL and scripting skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.

  • Data Visualization: Create and manage insightful and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools.

  • Metric Development: Develop and monitor DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics to provide actionable insights.

  • Governance Support: Ensure accurate Application Service data is recorded, including criticality, accessibility, and data privacy governance. Provide guidance and support to application owners.

  • Project Oversight: Support the management of multiple projects aligned with the organization's key results and objectives.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and senior management, to understand data needs and deliver meaningful conclusions. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, documentation, and follow-ups.

  • Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.

  • Metrics and Reports: Monitor OKR progress, develop and maintain detailed reports and metrics, and provide management updates.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data analysis, reporting processes, and product offerings.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, product management, or a related role, with a proven track record of using SQL and scripting for data extraction and manipulation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, R, or similar).
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Must be proficient with Excel (Advanced Skills needed)
• Knowledge:
• Experience or knowledge in DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics is essential.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL practices is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance existing processes.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to team members, stakeholders (technical and non-technical), and other departments.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 138,500.00 to 200,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
