Job Description

The Sr. Manager of Product Management will lead and inspire a team of product managers to develop and execute the product vision and strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring the alignment of product development with business goals, customer needs, and market trends. The manager will foster a collaborative environment, drive innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role will also involve mentoring and developing the product management team, optimizing processes, and ensuring effective cross-functional communication.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Ensure alignment of product initiatives with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and support.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prioritize product features and requirements based on business impact and customer feedback.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Drive product innovation by staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
  • Continuously improve product management processes and practices.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
BA/BS degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent, with four or more years of related education or experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will be considered.
7+ years of product management experience, including product conception as well as launching, building, and growing multiple products.
7+ years of experience in e-commerce and digital payments.
Prior people management experience.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product marketing.
Experience working with global and regional teams

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 135,300.00 to 196,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
