Job Description

As an Analyst, People Analytics Consulting and Workforce Planning, you will support Visa’s workforce strategy by providing hands-on headcount management and people data analysis that help optimize our workforce. You will collaborate closely with key cross-functional stakeholders across finance, people business partners, and talent acquisition to provide actionable insights and contribute to Visa’s 2030 people team strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze workforce data and trends to support strategic workforce planning decisions around capacity planning and resource allocation to align with business objectives.

  • Generate and analyze workforce reports, highlighting trends and discrepancies for key stakeholders in finance, people business partners, and business units.

  • Collaborate with business and leaders and finance to ensure workforce plans are aligned with Visa's business priorities and long-term strategic goals.

  • Assist in managing workforce data in Workday, ensuring accurate data entry, position management, and validation of workforce plans.

  • Contribute to the improvement of business processes related to workforce planning and position management by identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.

  • Fostering collaborative working relationships, actively seeking input from cross-functional teams, and contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.

  • Consistently deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that align with the company’s strategic objectives and help drive business outcomes.

  • Actively promote people analytics products and dashboards to stakeholders while continuously looking for opportunities to drive more value with product and dashboard enhancements.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree 
  • Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar education preferred
  • Experience with Workday, SmartRecruiters, and other HR systems for data entry and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, with a fun attitude and drive to deliver quality work.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 83,300.00 to 117,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
