Job Description

This position is based in San Francisco

Do you want to work on thumb-stopping social media content, original campaign creative, and even the occasional broadcast commercial? Do you like the idea of working with celebrity athletes from the NFL, FIFA, Olympics and Formula 1? AND would you like to do all that for one of the world’s most recognizable brands and our fortune 500 clients? If yes, then introductions are in order.

We are Ad Hock. Visa's internal creative agency. Just as Visa founder Dee Hock revolutionized the way we pay, Ad Hock is taking a new approach to the internal creative team by developing a fully functional advertising agency in-house. We create high-visibility content to support every layer of the funnel starting with brand awareness. Approximately 75% of our efforts support Visa’s core brand and sponsorships. The other 25% of our work is dedicated to supporting Visa’s partners and clients as an external creative agency. It’s the perfect mix of client-side and agency life!

Our agency is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a graphic designer to help craft, develop, and deliver projects from brief to execution. You could be designing art for a tradeshow booth in Iowa one day and making Super Bowl content the next. Really.

The ideal candidate is one part dreamer and one part doer. You can conceptualize outrageous ideas and then find ways to ground them in reality AND you can take an ordinary idea and make it extraordinary! You’ve got strong design skills, a passion for creating beautiful work, and a desire to constantly improve your work. You’ll be joining an expanding team of creatives to produce content for digital, social, OOH, email, landing page, videos, commercials and even the occasional print ad.

This role sits on the creative team and reports to a Creative Director and is an opportunity to join the Go-to-Market team within Visa’s North America Marketing organization. You’ll be working with the best and brightest marketing, brand, and advertising teams the industry has to offer. Come join us!
