Job Description
In this role, you will be part of the Global Processing product team within Acceptance Solutions. Our core payments value proposition within Visa Acceptance Solutions is based on our ability to provide the most secure, scalable, and compliant access to the broadest range of global payment services. The mission of our Global Processing product team is to build and manage the payment connection product set which our largest merchants and partners rely on to serve their global businesses.
You will bring strong commercial experience of developing innovative and commercially successful products, to the enterprise SAAS market. As a Senior Product Manager for one of our premier payment connection products, you will help drive the product strategy and manage key activities and dependencies, to deliver our consistent payments product experience, through that processor. You will manage planning, product development, and delivery effort for the connection(s) , with key milestones identified. This position reports into the Senior Director, Global Processing.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of commercialization and growth of your product set, working closely with our internal sales team and external sales channels.
Work with payment framework and settlement product teams and other stakeholders to ensure the processor connection capabilities are aligned with payment product strategy.
Manage your product roadmap and prioritized backlog, including production issues.
Work with architects and development teams to ensure detailed requirements are accurate, complete and ready for development.
Ensure all requirements are well articulated in JIRA as Epics/Features for Engineering team and dependent teams.
Facilitate end to end product delivery as needed by undertaking any requirement clarification, scoping, creating functional test scenarios, UAT signs offs, release communications etc.
Advocate for internal and external customer issues and ideas to influence product enhancements and prioritization.
Establish milestones in alignment with client needs to ensure timely product delivery.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• 8+ years of industry experience in a technology environment
• Knowledge and experience working with acquirer processors.
• Strong experience in working with agile lifecycle and/or tracking and process management tools, e.g. JIRA, JIRA Align.
• Proven ability to develop roadmaps, write user stories, groom product backlogs, and prioritize conflicting requirements in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to interpret explicit and implied business requirements, converting them into technical requirements with strong acceptance criteria.
• Team player with broad experience collaborating with subject matter experts, product teams, system architects and senior software engineers.
• Strong attention to details, ability to think strategically and independently.
• Outstanding communication ability including clearly and concisely communicating any project issues, risks to an executive audience.
• Strong customer centric mindset.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900.00 to 192,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
