Job Description

What's it all about?
As a Senior Director in for Visa Commercial solution client services, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development and implementation of key strategies for product and payment optimization in partnership with Client Services and product leadership.

What do we expect day to day?

  • Identify and deliver solutions that enable Visa Commercial Solutions clients to leverage Visa data assets to optimize payments performance.
  • Analyze and drive opportunities that enable and increase market penetration and client adoption of Visa’s family of commercial products and services.
  • Develop and champion new revenue opportunities in partnership with Client success managers and product managers.
  • Apply strong analytic and leadership skills, contextual business sense and a creative flair to solve complex data challenges for client services
  • Gather and digest customer feedback to help Visa enhance our commercial products and services and drive actionable opportunities with internal partners
  • Drive key Visa Commercial Client service OKRs, strategic initiatives,  track and monitor results, drive monthly and quarterly reporting in partnership with key leaders across Client services
  • Be a thought leader who grows the culture of data-driven decision making in Visa's Commercial Client Services function
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate with evidence of tangible business results
  • Serve as a domain expert, providing mentorship to help team members grow their skills and careers in data
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to organizational leadership and peers - inclusive of global and regional Commercial Client Services - to mature our optimization capabilities and delivery effectiveness.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters / MBA / JD / MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15-18 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD or PhD)
  • Visa or Payments industry product experience with understanding of commercial card payments solutions
  • Leader who can convert complex data to meaningful and simplified insights to optimize payment and product performance
  • Experience in building scalable enterpprise solutions for payment optimization such as auth rate optimization opportunities
  • Strategic and analytic skills with the capability to clearly communicate vision and strategy to executive leadership
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way.
  • Be a transformative leader - inspire others to a new level of excellence, both in and outside of your organization, at all levels of seniority
  • Demonstrated the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate with evidence of tangible business results

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 154,500.00 to 241,450.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
