JOB DESCRIPTION  

Visa’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Director, Global Executive Talent Acquisition Research Leader to join our diverse and industry leading Executive Talent Acquisition (ETA) team.  The ETA Research Leader will successfully lead a global team of executive recruiting researchers/sourcers/talent scouts and will play an essential role in driving overall company growth via advanced talent research, identification, attraction, sourcing and engagement of Vice President and Senior Vice President executive leadership.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading a team of executive sourcing professionals while also adding value as a member of the ETA global leadership team.
  • Proven ability to thrive in matrixed organizational structures, bringing clarity and direction to the team.
  • Recognized as a respected subject matter expert in executive recruitment who builds strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive work environment, inspiring innovation and growth including partnership with cross-functional TA and People Teams to include, but not limited to, our Recruiting, DE&I, Recruitment Marketing, TA Leadership, People Business, Legal and Compensation teams. 
  • Shows self-awareness and an understanding of when to escalate and seek assistance versus when to operate with autonomy.
  • Exceptional confidentiality, sensitivity and integrity, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex, high-profile environment.

Executive Talent Acquisition Expertise:

  • Direct knowledge of talent intelligence tools and systems and how they can be leveraged for executive talent research and industry mapping.
  • Expertise in sourcing, attracting, engaging, and screening top executive talent on a global scale.
  • Ability to build strong connections within the industry and cultivate a thorough understanding of the executive talent market.
  • Proven ability to activate a team to collectively and continually develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Elevated level of business acumen, understanding the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals of an organization.
  • Participates in special projects across People, TA, and ETA teams.

Client Management and Communication:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exhibits stealth and proactive delivery, with the ability to anticipate the needs of clients and deliver in a timely manner.
  • Extreme attention to detail and a commitment to executing with excellence.
  • Ability to tell the Executive TA story and advocate for the benefits that internal Executive Research brings to our internal clients.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 14+ years of experience within Talent Acquisition Sourcing, executive TA focus preferred, with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Prior experience leading a team of Researchers/Sourcers/Talent Scouts
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and Talent Intelligence tools
  • Deep experience creating and implementing executive sourcing best practices and operational efficiencies
  • Highly advanced reporting and data analytics experience to identify and solve sourcing challenges and gaps
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, organized, and resourceful
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple tasks and meet various deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and experience utilizing AI to drive operational efficiency and enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing an executive sourcing team within the Fin Tech or payments industry
  • Expertise in both agency and in-house executive recruiting research and sourcing best practices, with a commitment to keeping this knowledge ahead of industry trends.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, organization, and global project management skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,000 to 236,450 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
