Job Description

The Sr. Director, Global Campaigns & Solutions Marketing is a customer-obsessed and collaborative B2B marketing leader that will play a pivotal role in driving growth, market presence and intra-Visa understanding of Visa Acceptance Solutions across all global geographic regions. You will lead a diverse team of marketers with day-to-day responsibility for our integrated campaigns, ABM and industry marketing, full-funnel content, solutions and product marketing, and partner marketing programs. This leader will work closely across the shared services of brand, social media, paid media, events, and partner intimately with field marketing leads in each of the global regions. With first-hand experience of creating and driving predictable pipeline in a B2B SaaS environment, you will be adept at working cross functionally with key stakeholders not only from within marketing but also from Sales, Business Development, Customer Success and Partner Channels.

 

This newly created leadership position requires a seasoned marketing professional with an audience-first mindset, extensive experience in global campaign management, and a proven track record of delivering impactful revenue-generating marketing initiatives for both new and existing customers. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution for global campaigns, managing to quantifiable outcomes of customer expansion to continue our growth trajectory, and ensuring our sales teams are enabled with quality solutions and product content. Essential Functions

  • Courageously lead and bring together content marketing, solutions marketing, and pursuit marketing (ABM & Industry) into an integrated team to create impactful, multi-channel global campaigns for the purpose of pipeline generation
  • Working with the extended marketing and field teams to define the growth plan, channel mix, data & analytics to drive net new and expansion opportunities across all segments.
  • Build an outbound marketing strategy and ABM framework aligned with sales objectives with accountability for the pipeline number for front-book merchant and acquiring accounts
  • Leading the launch and successful execution of campaigns, ensuring key metrics for awareness, consideration and intent and pipeline are met
  • Overseeing the creation of hero and demand-gen content for all parts of the portfolio, including the content production process to ensure best-in-class, engaging content that cuts through the noise for our audiences
  • Guiding the marketing team at on how to communicate complex concepts in simple, easy to grasp ways that educate, inspire and create demand across a variety of standard and creative asset types, activities and media/formats.
  • In conjunction with field marketing: Develop strategies to drive in-region revenue and retention, localizing and optimizing through the partner channel, working closely with regional sales leadership, to ensure campaigns are amplified and targeted to regional market trends, regulations and marketing nuances
  • Oversee the delivery of a global events strategy to drive brand awareness, customer upsell and loyalty and deliver net new lead opportunities.
  • Work closely with partner marketing to develop a partner strategy to engage, educate and activate reseller partners to develop co-strategies to support global campaign and revenue goals and deliver channel pipeline
  • Support sales teams globally with market-specific knowledge of our narratives and how our products and solutions solve pain points and create opportunities across the portfolio. Ensure non-specialized sellers have a solid understanding of our portfolio to cross-sell existing marquee customers to deepen share of wallet
  • In conjunction with lead-generation shared services:
    • Develop a global multi-channel demand generation strategy for scalable growth, optimizing paid channels and continually exploring new ones
    • Driving the creation and optimization of programmatic customer journeys for acquisition and retention.
    • Analyze and optimize the demand generation portfolio continually for improved results.
  • Be hands-on with execution while mentoring and coaching the team to optimize and maximize efficiency across many channels.
  • Build close cross-functional relationships with the Marketing Operations function to ensure alignment on strategy, SLAs, budget management, setting/tracking KPIs and iterating based on performance and attribution goals
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including sales leadership, customer success, product management, and Visa B2B marketing leads outside the Acceptance Solutions business unit,
  • Develop joint-campaign strategies with other B2B marketing teams in global and the regional Hubs and align Visa business OKRs
  • Be willing to work across global time zones on a reasonable, but consistent basis. We strive to maintain work-life balance for team members in all regions, which means employees in all locations are expected to take turns being flexible on off-hours meetings (est. 10% of the time)
  • Expected travel 5-10% of the time

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Communications
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
• 10+ years in a senior marketing leadership role with experience delivering proven results and driving long term, predictable revenue growth
• Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring high-performing marketing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable and impactful results in terms of pipeline growth, revenue generation, and market positioning.
• Experience in developing and delivering integrated global campaigns across digital, field, corporate events, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approaches.
• Strong expertise in leading and optimizing global performance marketing teams, with a deep understanding of paid marketing channels and the ability to explore and test new avenues.
• Data driven mindset, an eye for numbers and fantastic attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex marketing strategies and results to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience partnering closely with sales teams on strategy, targeting, lead follow-up, and conversion
• Experience in creating compelling sales pitch assets and interactive sales tools
• Expert level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and high levels of proficiency in the rest of MS Office Suite
• Hands-on in-depth experience using advanced MarTech stacks including a CMS such as MS Dynamics, marking automation platforms such as Eloqua, data visualization platforms such as Datorama, and project management platforms such as Wrike.
• Payments industry experience a significant plus, B2B technology experience required

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 173,400.00 to 271,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
