Job Description

Analyst, Sales Strategy and Operations, Visa DPS  

Visa is looking for a talented and driven Strategy and Business Operations Analyst to join Visa DPS. Visa DPS is the leading issuer processor of Visa transactions in the world, processing over 2 trillion dollars in annual payment volume for banks, credit unions, and fintech's, while providing a full suite of risk management and customer engagement solutions. 

As Analyst of Sales Strategy and Operations, you will play an important role managing critical elements of the sales and business development function including tools and processes governing deal structuring, review, approval, data analysis, and more.  The mission is to improve deal quality, sales effectiveness, efficiency, and throughput. 

You will report directly to the Vice President, Business Strategy and will work closely with other leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise. If you're a strategic thinker who enjoys collaboration and has a bias for action, we'd love to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead orchestration and optimization of the DPS Deal Management function
  • Orchestrate weekly deal reviews and optimize the approval process in coordination with key business stakeholders
  • Optimize deal review content (improve deal rigor and quality)
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Acquire and maintain subject matter expertise on sales-related policies and act as the principal liaison to sellers for training and awareness around policy and process change
  • Work in close collaboration with commercialization and go-to-market functions to drive annual updates to DPS financial deal models, sales deal forecasting and reporting tools
  • Deliver reporting and analytics helpful to tracking and optimizing deal quality and sales effectiveness, incentives utilization, win/loss causality, etc.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA).

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
  • You have prior experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or a similar role
  • Previous experience in financial services and/or payments is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Excellent project management skills and experience exercising informal authority in a large cross-functional team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player able to collaborate and build relationships across functions and levels
  • Proactive and effective communicator, experienced in presenting to all levels
  • Self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguous environments
  • Highly adept at PowerPoint and Excel

This position will be based in our Highlands Ranch offices and will be operating on a hybrid model (2-3 days a week in the offices)  This will not be a remote role.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,600.00 to 125,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
