Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Manager - Product Management (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to

  • Be responsible for driving data-driven product enhancements and promoting the use of data to commercialize, sell and promote Cardinal products.
  • Lead and obtain strategic buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback, development, coaching and mentorship to a team of Data Analysts.
  • Communicate key messages and engage effectively with many diverse functional stakeholders through the product lifecycle.
  • Actively seek customer and market input and data as a source of product innovation and to drive pipeline growth.
  • Understand and articulate the value of company products and leverage data as proof-points to support growth in sales pipeline and product enhancements.
  • Translate market and customer insights to drive product strategy and decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., regional teams, Product Marketing, Business Development) to define and execute a cohesive strategy related to a specific initiative.
  • Conduct, lead and support end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements, analysis, processing, developing ongoing deliverables, and building presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with other data scientists and engineers to formulate innovative solutions to experiment and implement advanced data capabilities.
  • Translate findings into business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) and communicate to multiple stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Position has direct reports who are Data Analysts.
  • May telecommute.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a product management-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a product management-related occupation.
  • 3 years of payment or product management experience
  • E-Commerce and digital payments
  • Agile methodology to drive product development and delivery
  • Translating user requirements into a compelling product vision
  • Data analytics
  • Product lifecycle management
  • Strategic planning and market research

 

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA (May Telecommute)

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $186,846.00 USD to $201,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
