Job Description

The role will be responsible for coordinating and supporting sales, development, and implementation of Visa’s digital products and services in Greece and Cyprus.

  • The role holder will develop compelling and differentiated digital product propositions, and support client engagements with subject matter expertise and thought leadership to help excel Visa’s clients in Greece digitally with Visa’s digital products and solutions.   
  • The role entails broad digital payment product coverage responsibilities to include but not be limited with Biometrics, Visa Tokenization Service, Visa Developer Platform, (APIs), 3D Secure and SCA, Click to Pay, Card on File. Hence the role is expected to become the subject matter expert on these solutions in Greece and Cyprus.
  • The role holder must possess a unique combination of product management and pragmatic thinking skills, technical knowhow and expertise, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, execution discipline and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The role will require strong consultative client engagement, active listening and relationship building skills to understand client strategy, priorities and needs.
  • The role also requires strong internal cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, partnering closely with Visa Client Engagement, Consulting & Analytics, Marketing and Fintech and Proposition Development teams to integrate client go to market.
  • The role will require limited travel to Visa’s Europe headquarters in London and other Visa locations as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven knowledge and experience in business and technology from a Greek bank or a relevant financial services consulting or software company
• Superior understanding of Visa clients’ and other Greece ecosystem players (domestic switch, fintechs, ecommerce merchants etc.) infrastructure to be able to support at a technical level the implementation of Visa’s digital solutions in the market
• Superior understanding of the payments industry and the Greece payments landscape, in order to develop solutions that are customer centric and deliver value not only to Visa and its clients but also the end consumer
• Ability to translate client needs into product requirements by adapting existing product and solutions to client and market’s needs
• Candidates must be fluent in digital and mobile payment trends and use cases
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial analysis
• Strong problem solving skills with business process management experience
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Relevant experience at a bank, financial institution or global payment company and or management consulting experience in financial services and payments
• Proven experience in the delivery and launch of new services and products across markets
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
• Quick and self-learner with high interest in digging deep into technical product flows
• Driven, resilient, positive and calm under pressure
• Constructive and solution-oriented
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Greek
