Job Description

My Visa is a premium web based platform that provided cardholders access to all their Premium card benefits and merchant offers in one place to showcase Visa’s Premium proposition. Leveraging Visa’s Premium asset suite to create value for issuers through cardholder engagement, top of wallet behavior and differentiation in the market.

As a Technical Solutions Manager within the European HUB product team, you play a critical role in the development of our rapidly expanding platform. You will work as part of a small but growing team to deliver expansion of the current platform into new European markets, working directly with issuers to integrate my Visa into their banking environments and create enhanced consumer experiences working with our partners and suppliers to analyse API specifications and create requirements documents to deliver desired customer and issuer outcomes. You will use your knowledge of product, industry, and technology to design holistic solutions that meet business and technical needs across individual clients and customer segments. You work hands-on with selected third parties - keeping in mind evolving market, client, and consumer needs, with the objective of driving significant future European market growth for Visa.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

  • Ownership for the technical aspects of the platform and provision of solutioning to acquired requirements to evolve the consumer experience.
  • Lead technical platform roadmap toward customer experience improvement, scale efficiency notably by leveraging Global capabilities fitting European regional requirements.
  • Utilize a consultative sales and commercialization approach that demonstrates the my visa benefits for to meet business objectives and associated performance metrics of premium payment portfolios and associated revenue levers.
  • Represent my Visa Premium in our issuer integrations including product ideation stage and supporting clients to make the most of my Visa.
  • Manage as appropriate issuer personalization projects and initiatives providing structure through the engagement, and relevant guidance internally and externally with our selected third parties.
  • Proactively consider customer experience and needs to design architectural solutions that meet client and Visa objectives.
  • Identify and address potential issues and risks related implementations and platform enhancements.
  • Drive the backlog and development pipeline prioritization to ensure full alignment across markets and strategic placement in line with global expectations with value delivered.
  • Be an expert on the my Visa platform and any associated content creation processes. Provide technical advice and establish relationships with markets and stakeholders to be recognized as their trusted advisor.
  • Identify experience innovation within the platform and collaborate with supporting Visa VAS to strategically determine ongoing alignment and identify relevant and required approach to maintaining and delivering change.
  • Independent day- to-day working, self-directed based on a sound understanding of the overall my Visa and Premium strategy.
     

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in the payments industry, preferably in product management or technology at an Issuer, Issuer Processor, Scheme, Core.
  • Established professional who demonstrates knowledge of website and/or App build and client integration/interactions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work creatively and independently.
  • Experience in simplifying the complex and removing commercial and technical barriers to execution.
  • Good understanding of the payments, benefits and/or rewards landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Passion for future of payments, benefits and/or rewards.
  • Solid understanding of modern technologies (e.g. APIs, cloud solutions etc.).
  • Project Management skills with understanding of both Waterfall and Agile frameworks, including the full Software Development Lifecycle. 
  • Curious and inquisitive problem solver – thrives in difficult and big problem spaces with a bias for action.
  • Driven, resilient, with attention to detail, great with numbers and positive under pressure.
  • Experience working across European markets.
  • Ability to balance complex mix of interpersonal skills, technical proficiency, and commercial judgement to drive outcomes.
