Job Description

Imagine yourself as part of Visa’s People Systems Strategy, Transformation and Innovation organization, a team that is responsible for driving the transformation towards world class workforce and partner experiences across the People Systems landscape.  

Essential Functions

As Director, People Systems Digital Strategy Enablement, you will be responsible for analyzing VISA’s HR technology landscape and provide recommendations for a future systems design. You will work with IT (people technology) and People Systems  business to understand strategic initiatives and will consult on how they fit into VISA’s HR technology vision. You will be responsible for ensuring an optimal use of existing technologies and how new applications can be embedded to increase the employee experience.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR technology strategy aligned with the organization's objectives. 
  • Works collaboratively with Human resources and IT to recommend systems improvements and procedures to streamline and automate processes.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify HR technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with the HR and information technology teams to understand and drive the strategy, roadmap and implementation of enterprise process, data and technology changes and implementations. 
  • Drive system improvements and efficiency by leveraging innovative technology solutions.
  • Stay connected to industry trends and emerging HR technology offerings as well as best practices.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • 10+ years’ experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone
  • 5+ years’ experience with Benefits, Time tracking, Payroll and Analytics systems
  • 5+ years’ experience in HR technology systems architecture
  • 10+ years’ experience with Benefits, Time tracking, Payroll and Analytics systems
  • 10+ years’ experience in HR technology systems architecture
  • Experience with current HR trends such as virtual agents and GenAI
  • Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
  • Active listener, customer focused, relationship builder, team player
  • Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,700.00 to 212,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
