Job Description
Visa’s Global Authentication & Identity product team is responsible for building solutions to help our clients detect and prevent fraud for e-commerce payments. The Product Manager will be instrumental in driving strategic product initiatives for our early-stage Digital Identity Products including Next Gen Fraud Signals (NGFS), and Visa ID. Next Gen Fraud Signals is an end-to-end risk platform providing long term features to machine learning models internally and serving entity-risk scores directly to clients through an API.
This role requires a deep understanding of the digital identity landscape, complex data structures, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including engineering and data science.
The Product Manager will guide innovative solutions inform the overall product strategy, and utilize their industry, market, and product expertise to proactively educate the organization on our roadmap.
The product manager will be responsible for developing business cases, product roadmap, and contribute to development of technical documentation, operational processes, and partner/client legal agreements. This role requires a variety of skillsets across strategy, product management, product development, data science, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Ownership of an agile technology team designing, developing, and implementing critical features. This includes translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring that the deliverables align with our goals.
- Technology Deployment: Assist with the deployment of new graph technologies to handle the processing of big data. This includes evaluating potential technologies, overseeing their implementation, and managing any associated risks.
- Algorithm Testing: Oversee the testing and implementation of new algorithms designed to enhance the processing and interpretation of large-scale data.
- Data Management: Leverage your understanding of complex data structures to make informed decisions about product direction and strategy. This includes identifying opportunities for data optimization and ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, new technologies, and business opportunities, using this information to inform product requirements and vision.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and manage a detailed product roadmap for your business area. This includes prioritizing product features, setting timelines, and coordinating releases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including data science, regional, and global product teams to ensure alignment across all areas of the business. This involves internally marketing product features, benefits, and updates, and gathering feedback to inform future product development and integrations.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to align expectations and secure buy-in on product strategy and roadmap by presenting product updates, managing stakeholder feedback, and navigating any potential roadblocks.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze product performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives. Use this data to inform product enhancements and identify areas for improvement.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in technology or data-focused companies with solid understanding of the product lifecycle.
- Experience in a start-up environment, self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions, take initiative, and see ideas through from inception to completion.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale data products in the consumer space.

- Strong understanding of graph technologies and big data processing algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication, marketing, and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA etc.).
- Comfortable conducting analyses in languages such as Python, SQL, etc.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,100 to 191,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
