Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of payment projects and initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Define and communicate the project scope, objectives, timeline, and risks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Technology, Product, Risk and Compliance teams.
  • Track and report the project progress, status, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of the payment solutions and processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Develop support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of projects to all stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Proven working experience in project management in the payment industry.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 94,800 to 171,750 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
