Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst, North America Revenue FP&A, NA Finance

The NA Revenue FP&A team is responsible for managing business drivers, including Payments Volume of 6T per annum, gross revenues, client incentives, and net revenues of 15B per annum (with net revenue a key measure of performance). The team is tasked with developing conceptually sound, rigorous, and detailed understandings of the various elements that impact net revenue, with the goal of optimizing financial performance and delivering against financial goals. This is supported by core planning & analysis responsibilities, the ongoing drive to uncover new insights and suggest improvements, and by either making or enabling business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst, NA Revenue FP&A will join an FP&A team that is the day-to-day financial ‘eyes and ears’ for roughly half of Visa’s global net revenue.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cost of client recognition and planning.

  • Manage the pipeline of finalized deals and their forecast actualization, maintain booking package updates for key deals, and enhance forecast precision.

  • Compile and provide financial analysis for forecasting cost of volumes in the US.  Review and challenges sales and North American finance teams to secure realistic projections for existing and new deals.

  • Serve as an expert in all areas of deal recognition, while suggesting continuous process improvements through streamlining and proposing new approaches to incentive management.

  • Participate in the development of cost of volume planning strategy and recommends enhancements.

  • Work closely with CIO team to ensure the proper incentives allocation between respective pillars, provides insights to CMS FPA teams.

  • Consolidate NA cost of volume submission, provides all supports to Canada team

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or management consulting
• MBA is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Hyperion, and strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, and TM1
• Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large datasets
• Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
• Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management and produce time sensitive deliverables
• Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 118,500.00 to 171,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
