What a Finance Analyst does at Visa?

CDPE is seeking a Finance Analyst to maintain and enhance tools and applications for optimizing data and process efficiency across Controllership functions.

Essential Function:

Enable Automated Self-Service Reporting:

• Maintain effective data operations in PowerBI and Python for reporting and control processes

• Enhance current data analytics tools and platforms to facilitate user-driven analysis and business decision-making

• Responsible for analyzing source data and responding to users’ queries on tools and processes

• Identify and implement automation opportunities on existing processes

Champion Process Excellence and Data Governance:

• Ensure robust documentation for operating procedures and user guides on the data analytics tools and platforms

• Identify potential business risk areas and suggest improvements on data governance and process controls

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in a data-driven role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerQuery,
• Experience in designing and building dashboards for a broad audience in Power BI
• Proficient in data analytics – Analyzing voluminous data, designing and optimizing data processing pipelines, and aggregating multiple data sources
• Strong in communication, presentation and problem-solving, with attention to details and accuracy
