Job Description

Project Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for leading and managing complex projects.

Leads and coordinates the planning, execution, and delivery of a project- a temporary endeavor that has a specific scope, budget, and timeline. Responsible for ensuring that the project meets the objectives and expectations of the stakeholders, as well as the quality, cost, and time standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage project scope and changes, ensuring successful and on-time project delivery.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, schedules, financials, forecasting, and adheres to stage gate quality and controls.
  • Organizational: Needs to plan, organize, and control the project activities and resources. Organizational skills include project management methodologies (both waterfall but with a heavy aptitude for agile methodology). Fully understands all aspects of project management - project scope, project schedule, project budget, project quality, and project documentation and the ability to prioritize and work independently. Can grasp and adopt standard operating processes quickly.
  • Technical: Needs to have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the project, such as the tools, methods, processes, and standards used. Technical skills include domain knowledge, technical literacy, analytical thinking, and risk management.
  • Lead and Contribute: Can lead individual projects while also serving as a project lead within a program framework.
  • Natural Curiosity: Exhibits a natural curiosity around new technology and innovations and a desire to learn new things. Seeks understanding and solutions independently.
  • Requirements: Has the ability to both capture and understand requirements that roll up into a project or program outside own domain.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with different audiences, such as clients, team members, vendors, and senior management. Communication skills include listening, speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment while demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Interpersonal: Builds and maintains positive relationships with the project stakeholders and team members. Interpersonal skills include teamwork, collaboration, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
  • Metrics: Reports on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
  • Leadership: Inspires, motivates, and guides the project team and other stakeholders - skills include vision, influence, decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Proven experience in project management (3-5 years)
  • Agile Project Management Experience
  • JIRA and JIRA Align experience is a Plus!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 79,000.00 to 111,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
