Job Description
You will be responsible for pro-actively managing the relationship with one of our Global Signature Clients. Promoting and securing the use of Visa Europe products and services across their business to improve the Visa payments customer experience and deliver growth.
Through your deep Client relationship, and your experience and thought leadership, you will also work with the client to develop future strategic plans to identify and deliver new innovations for customers, ensuring that your client continues to be market leading innovators in the payments market.
What we expect of you, day to day:
- Manage the relationship with a Global Signature account, ensuring your stakeholders are provided appropriate support from Visa.
- Develop annual & strategic plans to identify and deliver new innovative solutions, which will enhance the customer payment experience and support growth for the cards business and retail bank business lines.
- Work with your clients to identify new and ongoing requirements, introducing existing products and services which will drive profitability for your P&L, delivering upon your assigned sales targets.
- Leverage your knowledge of card issuing, retail banking, the broader payments market and Financial Services, to identity new opportunities to provide your client with solutions to grow their business.
- Be accountable for prioritising conflicting and competing demand across the business to ensure Visa resources are deployed to maximum effect.
- Run monthly governance forums covering business performance, new Visa Product & Solutions
- Lead contract negotiations where required
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications

- An energetic and resilient self-starter who is able to work well on their own and also as part of the wider team, creating opportunities with the client, and with guidance work against set deadlines
- Ability to articulate, Visa’s capabilities across Innovation, Product, Marketing and holistically, being able to quickly identify what further SME resource is required to support the client
- Excellent knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or financial services; Broad and comprehensive knowledge of Visa Europe and its products and services
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, gaining and building trust as the relationship progresses
- Work independently with guidance in the most complex situations, balancing demanding priorities but delivering Client centric outcomes for both the client & Visa
