Job Description

The Lease Administration Analyst for Global Real Estate is a crucial part of the Corporate Services team. This individual will spearhead the global site concept approval process. Upon finalizing a lease, they will ensure the precision of lease data for Visa sites globally. As the subject matter expert on all Visa real estate leases, this role will serve as a primary contact for Visa's third-party lease database administrator. The ideal candidate should have a background in global real estate, finance, and data analytics.

 

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Business Partnership: The analyst will act as a liaison between various teams within the organization, including Regional Real Estate Teams, Site Leads, Analytics, Finance and Accounting teams, and third-party suppliers of Visa lease data/admin services. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration and partnership across these diverse teams.

Concept Approval Administration: The primary responsibility in this area will be to lead and coordinate regular concept approval meetings across Visa's global regions. This involves meticulous planning, scheduling, and ensuring that all necessary concept presentations are received in a timely manner. The analyst will facilitate discussion during these meetings, capturing key points and decisions, and then communicating these effectively to all stakeholders. They will also track the status of concept approvals and maintain detailed records of the approval process.

Global Lease Administration: The analyst will oversee the processes, procedures, and reporting activities related to the global lease administration. This includes reviewing lease-related documents and coordinating with third-party lease administration suppliers to manage these documents within Visa's lease administration system. A key aspect of this role will be ensuring the accuracy of all Visa leases and compliance with Visa policy.

Financial Reporting: Serving as the key point of contact for the finance and accounting teams, the analyst will ensure accurate lease costs for both level expense and cash flow for all leases. Their expertise will be especially crucial for leases related to North America and Latin America.

Third Party Administrator Management: The analyst will also serve as the primary liaison with the provider of database and administrative services. This role requires effective management of third-party relationships and a strong understanding of database and administrative services.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Key Skills
• Real-estate, Finance, Database and Contract experience
• English Fluency
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and all global regions (in English)
• Ability to manage time, work independently, and see projects through to completion.
• Eager to learn new tasks and technology quickly.
• Strong organizational, proactive problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Considering global time differences, the analyst may be required to work during early morning and late-night hours to attend certain regional meetings. Generally, these meetings can be attended remotely using your laptop, rather than being physically present in the office.
Qualifications
• Ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years in real-estate administration. Finance, Contract experience and database skills desired.
• a college degree preferred.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
