Job Description

The Digital Enablement Solutions (DES) Product team is seeking an outstanding Analyst, Solutions Management candidate with the vision, passion and commitment to deliver on Visa's overall digital and mobile enablement strategy in support of multiple digital products, including the Visa Digital Enablement SDK, Visa Digital Commerce App (VDCA), VDE Lite App, Visa Transactions Controls & Alerts, GCAS and other important initiatives.

The Analyst, Solutions Management position is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Director of Solutions Management, who is responsible for product operations, certain aspects of product delivery, and organizational and client readiness.

The Solutions Management team is responsible for product readiness, commercialization and operationalization, as well as client readiness and support, for all DES products. The Solutions Manager will be an important member of the team responsible for enabling digital solutions specifically focusing on Visa's U.S. and Global issuers, fintechs, group service providers, and third-party processor relationships. This position will be responsible for various types of initiatives, including providing oversight to a variety of product-related operational processes, providing product subject matter expertise, working closely with technology resources on the resolution of product issues, and other commercialization requirements associated with key products. This position involves working with cross-functional stakeholder teams to prioritize, define, and develop quality deliverables.

This person will manage assigned business initiatives and will be responsible for providing product subject matter expertise, oversight and prioritization of identified product issues, development of operational and other business processes, new business initiative and privacy assessment process management, and assistance with end-to-end product readiness initiatives, where needed. This person will be required to develop and maintain task and project workplans, identify risks and issues, and to work closely with their peers and management to ensure high quality and on-time delivery for each assigned deliverable. This person makes decisions on routine matters, selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, and will provide guidance to others within main product/service areas.

The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Additionally, some experience in project management, product management, a good understanding of software development life cycle, and strong analytical and communication skills will be ideal.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience in payments, project/program management,
digital/mobile, or product management/product development disciplines.
• Works on assignments of diverse scope where initiative and judgment are required to identify a
correct course of action within the context of broad goals and long-term objectives. Work involves
multiple domains and product offerings within Visa.
• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned deliverables, and managing tasks for assigned
operational initiatives, programs or products.
• Represent Product and directly collaborate with the Technology organization in Austin (and other
geographic locations) for assigned initiatives to ensure Product-defined requirements are met and
delivered successfully, and solutions are launched to the market.
• Must be able to build product subject matter expertise, and understand, represent and
communicate detailed product and technical functionality associated with our digital solutions.
• Responsible for various solutions and program management artifacts including, but not limited to,
process flows, project workplans, RACI documents, and other project documents, as needed.
• Knowledge of developing task plans, project plans and milestone dates is required. Assists in the
roll-out of new business processes and improvement to existing processes, where needed.
• Ability to delegate project tasks when appropriate, manage multiple concurrent assignments and
dependencies, with competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and accomplish responsibilities with minimal day-to-day direction
from management.
• 4 or more years of relevant work experience in payments, project/program management,
digital/mobile, or product management/product development disciplines.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are required. In particular, candidate will be expected
to build proficiency in effectively communicating business and technical issues and solutions to
multiple organizational levels internally and externally as needed.
• Ensures deliverables are in alignment with corporate and department goals.
• Monitor, track and report on the successful launch of product deliverables associated with solutions
management assignments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence to build credibility within Visa and with clients.
• Interact with internal teams and Visa clients as needed to provide subject matter expertise on
product features, prioritization of issue resolution, information on root cause of issues and
remediation plans.
• Directly represent Product with the technology team to provide priority, guidance, details on client
impact, and other information in order to resolve product issues, while driving the timely resolution
of such issues.
• Assist with other product operations activities, such as capacity planning, disaster recovery
planning and service level monitoring, as well as product development lifecycle deliverables.
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style.
• Limited travel may be required.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 102,300.00 to 144,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
