Job Description
As a member of the Corporate IT – Program Management & Business Operations (PMBO) organization, the Workstation Software Management (WSM) role is part of a team responsible for the lifecycle of workstation software assets needed by our 35,000+ global end users. In addition, this person is in position to execute efficient procurement asset services, ensuing values and competencies in maintaining transparency, integrity, and compliance. The WSM Analyst derives meaningful operational metrics which align to OLA/SLA's across the function and manages continuous improvements with regards to accurate and appropriate inventory across the enterprise.
Reporting to Visa's Sr. Manager - Asset Management, this role’s primary focus is with Workstation Software Management procurement and license management. This effort requires effective planning, monitoring, recording of entitlements, and reporting of workstation software license positions to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and the optimization of those assets throughout their lifecycle.
As a business office function, this role has significant impact on the day-to-day success of the overall transformational journey of Corporate IT (CIT). The business functions of the role require the WSM Analyst to work with internal peers to ensure data accuracy and lifecycle management of software assets. The Analyst also supports facilitates the delivery of software to the End User community. This individual will also provide technological guidance in the development of both internal and external processes and tools for workstation software asset and license management.
Areas of experience include data analysis around effective license positioning, packaging, publishing, and delivery of software while identifying cost optimization and generating compliance reporting.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications
o Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
o 2 or more year of work experience.
o Knowledge of the Software Asset Management lifecycles.
o Experience with inventory management systems like Flexera FNMS.
o Knowledge of procurement principles and best practices.
o Experience with SCCM, JAMF, BigFix discovery methods, metering, and reporting.
o Familiarity with SCCM or JAMF packaging.
o Familiarity with Flexera App Portal software delivery.
o Familiarity with SSO (Single Sign-On), Azure cloud based authentication methodology
o Familiarity with SCIM provisioning
Preferred Qualifications
o 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field
o 2+ years of exposure to or experience with Software Asset Management
o Knowledge of Workstation Software Asset Management and Discovery Tools principles.
o Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified IT Asset Manager
o Experienced configuring and managing IT service management tools like Flexera FNMS, Flexera App Portal, ServiceNow, Eracent ITMC or SNOW.
o Experienced in using IT service delivery tools such as SCCM, JAMF, InTune, or BigFix in conjunction with SAM tools to automate software distribution.
o Experience with ServiceNow custom dashboarding and reporting.
o Demonstrates effective use of Microsoft Office 365 Products.
o Knowledge of Software Licensing Model and stays informed of new and updated software license models and options.
o Knowledge of SAAS/Cloud based software management best practices and policy.
o Knowledge of Azure environmental setup, maintenance, and proficiencies.
o Knowledge of how companies like Microsoft, Jetbrains, and Adobe perform annual true up, license management, audit, and reporting.
o Ability to execute at the detail level while maintaining a strategic alignment with the practice.
o Identifying and solving process gaps.
