Job Description

  • Drive mobile first, trusted personalized payment experiences.
  • Leverage user research and data analytics to inform key design decisions.
  • Co-design, test and validate UX/UI with clients and partners.
  • Ensure balancing risk, privacy and security without compromising on customer needs/wants driving product desirability and adoption. 
  • Create design EPICs and user stories for the product backlog. Support backlog grooming sessions with x-functional teams. 
  • Design UX/UI for PoCs, to future-proof pilots.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to take solutions from definition & validation into piloting. Support solution deployment and testing, capture feedback, iterate and improve.
  • Develop and maintain design assets from service blueprints to customer journey narratives, UX/UI guides, playbooks and reusable components.
  • Champion Visa’s digital identity experiences internally and externally.
  • Act as a design thought leader for digital identity, biometrics, consent and privacy standards.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


  • MS/MFA in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Product design leading commerce & payment experiences across mobile and point of sale with a SaaS/fintech/bigtech background.
  • Experience designing for trusted experiences leveraging biometrics, consent, data and privacy principles.
  • Track record in working across open data, open banking, wallets and/or card payments. Experience with CDP/CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Strong service design leader, able to apply business and technical worklows, research, data & analytics towards creating a delightful user experience.
  • Product design expertise across user research, UX/UI design & usability testing methodologies and tools.
  • Extensive experience using agile, working in matrixed teams.
  • Ability to drive a great partnership with product and technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with vendors.
  • Ability to steer complex decisions with different stakeholders.
  • Great design storyteller, able to convincingly represent the voice of the consumer/customer.
  • A passion for solving the problems of the future through innovation, technology & design.
  • Understanding of i18n, a11y standards and best practices.
