Job Description
- Responsible to document processes and procedures for internal consumption.
- Develop and maintain action plan to address data quality issues with Acquirers, Merchants, and Visa platforms.
- Understand and maintain a deep understanding of the commercial data strategies, priorities, and issues.
- Contribute content to Visa Business News (VBN), client presentations and internal training materials.
- Provide subject matter expertise to external partners at the acquiring banks, the acquiring processors and select merchants, and develop and implement a complete plan for acquirer changes – US region (awareness, education, commitment, change execution, monitoring, post support).
- Provide SME-level support to teams engaged with merchant certification, program adherence metrics and reporting.
- Maintain monitoring system to track data provider engagement efforts, as well as client engagements and usage tracking to determine trends to be aware of and action on when needed.
- Track Dashboard and Reporting enhancement opportunities and work directly with the Platform team for prioritization
- Provide monthly dashboards to track program status updates to stakeholders at all levels with applicable detail based on the targeted audience.
- Lead external discussions with key stakeholders expected to implement the Commercial Enhanced Data Program.
- Manage and oversee adjudication process and apply decision-making strategy to determine if client-supplied feedback (from Issuers or Data Providers) warrants reversal of Data Quality adjudication decision.
- Present content during client QBR presentations.
- Stay abreast of new product updates and rules, and industry and technology trends to be able to support Visa strategic goals and Client initiatives.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Proven experience in launching new solutions and solving business problems for client entities
- Experienced with online and digital products that support Commercial Cards, ACH, Real-Time Payments, Cross-Border Payments and/or other emerging payments rails
- Proven experience in all aspects of Client Service Delivery and the ability to lead strategic to tactical discussions as well as bridge business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Deep understanding of payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, digital wallets) • Experience with payment network, banks, payment processors or financial technology software providers is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with experience conducting data research, developing hypotheses based on unstructured data, validate the hypothesis, and provide recommendations
- Effective communication skills, storytelling, strong presentation skills, executive presence, and ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences and C-suite individuals in an engaging way
- Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts across multiple functional groups
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work internally across business, technology, and delivery teams, and externally with clients and other stakeholders
- Ability to quickly learn about the internal Visa solutions, processes, culture, leadership principles and how it all works together and embrace changes in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving
- Ability to manage, and coordinate across complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources
- Strong results-oriented contributor, analytic and fact-based consultative discipline demonstrating a growth mindset

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,700.00 to 173,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
