Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing strategic product portfolio marketing projects and initiatives including product naming, product commercialization schedules and product roadmap updates. In addition, this role will be responsible for building and publishing a monthly product bulletin, and managing internal communications regarding product marketing messaging, assets, and tools. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact on behalf of product marketing with cross-functional teams including sales operations and sales enablement, product management, and regional field marketing teams. Manage product marketing priorities, timelines, and team assignments for collaborative initiatives with cross-functional teams.

This individual will also assist in telling the Cybersource product story through a broad range of mediums, including presentations, website content, and associated assets. Building bespoke PPT presentations weekly with sales and marketing teams will require fast-on-your-feet storytelling and PPT skills.  Responsibilities will also include internal product marketing communications and regular updates of the internal product marketing online asset library. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Marketing for Cybersource.

Essential Functions: 

  • Detail-oriented management of product marketing initiatives and cross-functional collaborative projects

  • Build and nurture cross-functional relationships with a high degree of professionalism, courtesy and respect.

  • Experience previously managing product marketing projects with a focus on delivery of product messaging and assets via websites, digital mediums, and reports/dashboards.

  • Development and management of processes and tools to plan, review and execute work effectively. Support fruitful collaboration and approvals across the cross-functional team.

  • Project management expertise with proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and internal and external resources

  • Ability to distill and tailor complex information for key audiences – both internal and external

  • Skilled at managing internal stakeholders and creating alignment in strategy and direction, ensuring quality, clarity, and consistency with business goals related to the marketing of Cybersource products

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple projects, often on short deadlines and under pressure.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• Proven & experienced B2B Marker, knowledge and understanding of eCommerce preferred, payments industry/risk management or management consulting firm experience would be a plus
• Ability to operate in a hyper-growth environment
• Agility to shift priorities and direction to align with rapidly changing market conditions
• Strong writer and storyteller, communicator, and team builder, attention to detail and a keen sense of creativity
• Strong presentation-building skills and proven ability to work and think globally – expert in PPT required
• Doesn’t miss a beat with changing asks and balancing multiple projects
• Highly organized with a passion for crafting and improving processes
• Experienced in collaborating across functional areas, empathetic to others’ needs
• 7+ years of progressive product marketing experience

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900.00 to 192,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
