Job Description
- Position requires 24/7 availability for incident response through an established on-call rotation
- Accountable for developing and delivering a comprehensive crisis management training and exercise program for the global organization.
- Deliver the Crisis Management training program via virtual training platforms as well as instructor-facilitated sessions. In-person training sessions will be conducted when possible.
- Provide leadership across the Crisis Management function to ensure training of crisis management team members is consistent, timely, and thorough.
- Accountable for tracking and regular reporting, indicating compliance with annual program requirements.
- Strengthen the culture, process, and embedment of staff and organizational preparedness through training and exercise initiatives.
- Conduct key stakeholder presentations, seminars, and workshops in an effort to help mature crisis response capabilities.
- Accountable for staff preparedness initiatives in accordance with Operational Resilience program objectives.
- Manage high-risk or large scale global business- and/or life-safety related incidents in accordance with documented processes, including managing day-to-day operational aspects of crisis management.
- Work independently with limited supervision from leadership to ensure delivery and compliance with program requirements.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• 12 years of Visa/payment system/financial institution experience including participation in a crisis/incident/emergency management program as a team member, leader, or program manager
• Knowledge of payment processing systems including: Clearing, Settlement, Debit Processes, Authorization, and/or Cybersecurity protocols
• 5 years of experience in a corporate or public-sector emergency or crisis management program, including participation in a crisis/incident/emergency management program as a team member, leader, or program manager
• Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), adult education methodology, or other industry recognized professional training/exercise program management certification
• 10 years of experience developing and managing a corporate or public-sector training and exercise program
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying virtual training and learning solutions
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, large-scale exercises that span multiple teams and multiple countries across the globe
• Experience working with Senior and Executive management in a training, consultative, and/or advisory capacity
• Experience interacting with a global audience to identify unique exercise needs
• Experience managing a corrective actions program and developing strategies to remediate identified risks
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $124,900 to $162,400 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
