Job Description

Our Sales function is responsible for driving sales and development across the business in our markets. By building deep partnerships with our clients and offering creative solutions, we are at the forefront of protecting and growing Visa’s brand and market share.

For this role, we are looking for an Account Executive to manage strategic clients in Spain to make sure we maximize both short-term and long-term impact to business of our clients and Visa. You will bring along understanding of the payments market, curiosity to learn constantly and yet you are not afraid of being part of hands-on delivery. What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Increase the value from the partnership, identifying areas of opportunity for Visa to solve.

  • Develop collaborative relationships with multiple internal and external partners, and work with them to identify new opportunities that would help grow both our clients’ and Visa’s businesses.

  • Develop new relevant opportunities through comprehensive analysis from client data and deep understanding of client needs.

  • Build and develop a strong relationship with our Client ensuring they are provided appropriate support and excellent service from Visa.

  • Establish strong internal partnerships with functions across Visa to ensure the right parts of the business are appropriately involved and informed about client needs fostering a collaboratively environment working together as “One Visa”.

  • Stay at the front of a dynamic industry and use your knowledge to help our clients adapt and stay ahead too.

  • Everyone is a leader at Visa. As such you will lead, impact and support others by sharing your expertise and help with the wider team acting as a coach and mentor where appropriate.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• 3-5 years experience in sales, business development, consultative sales, partnerships or key account management, in a context of leading international organisations.
• A track record of delivering against ambitious objectives with proven experience to successfully manage the full commercial cycle.
• Experience acquired at leading payments organisation (financial institutions, key industry players, fintechs, etc.), technology sales and/or consultancy.
• Proven interpersonal, leadership and communication skills to build strong relationships.
• Experience in working for large, international matrix organisations will be valued.
• Experience and track record managing to stretch targets and a P&L
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
