The Digital Partnership team lead Visa’s engagement with Fintech, Big Tech and Digital Platforms to identify partnership and commercial opportunities for Visa and/or our clients.

 

We are looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented and passionate business development manager to join our team and help pursue new opportunities across Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific.

What you will be doing

 

  • Developing commercial strategies to win new business and execute new customer acquisition activities
  • Building a network of external contacts that you will nurture to build relationships and your pipeline of new opportunities
  • Actively monitor competitive landscape for attack and grow opportunities
  • Collaborating with regional and local finance teams to develop commercial proposals for regional and global opportunities
  • Providing data analysis support for key business decision making and market updates
  • Producing relevant sales collateral and pitch presentations for new client opportunities
  • Developing content and the engagement strategy for industry bodies and events

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Commercial Prowess – Experience in, and flair + passion for, constructing and negotiating partnership deals that support Visa’s growth strategy. Experience developing, building and securing new commercial relationships. You have constructed and negotiated complex deals that meet customer needs and deliver win-win partnership outcomes. You are comfortable navigating through commercial, technical and legal requirements to successfully execute contracts
• Sell with Pride & Purpose – Excellent client engagement and business development skills that build deep, trust-based partnerships and drive mutual growth. Experience in and passion for payments. Fluent in the innovation landscape. You keep up-to-date with the latest business, industry, customer and product trends
• High-Impact Communication – Excellent communication and presentation skills. You have the ability to adapt creative sales approaches based on client needs, create strong customer narratives and deliver compelling sales presentations & pitches. Ability to develop content and the engagement strategy for industry bodies and events. You will help raise the profile of the Visa Digital Partnerships team through conferences, social media and industry engagement.
