Job Description
Visa’s Issuing Solutions (IS) team is building a new generation of products to facilitate commerce in everyone’s digital and mobile lives. Our focus is to build products with features that expose profound new value for our customers, merchants, and developers.
The role is a Technical Program Manager, supporting the Mobile Enablement team, with hands-on project/program management experience. This team is responsible for delivering mobile applications, creating Visa-wide solutions for the mobile market, as well as the backend services and tools required to enable them.
In this position, you are first and foremost a passionate and talented problem-solver who can work in a dynamic environment as a member of an agile Program Management team. Your strong leadership and coordination skills are just a start. You must have a passion for delivering quality software, on a dependable schedule, and a desire to ensure that product functionality is made available to customers through a well-defined process.
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of mobile capabilities for internal and external clients in and Agile environment. The primary product leverages and expands existing Visa mobile capabilities.
Essential Function:
The Program Manager in this function will be responsible for the end to end lifecycle - planning, execution and implementation of the capabilities required for the product.
This is a highly visible position that interacts with a broad spectrum of
stakeholders including management at varying levels, developers, architects, business leaders and the like.A strong candidate will have a solid experience with technology product- and project-management, cross-functional team leadership, as well as exceptional business analysis, problem-solving, cross-team coordination, communications, project/program management, processes, and change management skills.
The ideal candidate is not just a facilitator or project plan tracker but ensures things get done. The ideal candidate must have a drive to get things done and a make it happen attitude.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Business, or other related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical program/project management.
• Experience with mobile and web-based applications
• Demonstrated problem solving, analytic, and troubleshooting skills
• SCRUM/Agile experience
• Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision
making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to focus on the tasks at hand
• A positive and enthusiastic outlook, both within the team and when working alone.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900.00 to 172,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
