Job Description
This successful candidate will join the Payment Product Development Technical PMO executing programs and projects with our Product and Corporate Function organizations as a Lead Technical Program Manager. Our team consists of highly visible leaders who direct complex customer-facing and enterprise-class software programs and projects.
Essential Functions
You will oversee program management for a portfolio of complex and high-profile technology programs.
You will collaborate with senior leaders across business and technology teams to initiate programs, strategize on future program roadmaps that align with business objectives, prioritized based on resource availability.
You will work with business and technology experts to define scope, create resource, hardware and software estimates, develop budgets and delivery plans, and produce funding approval documentation.
You will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, architects, software engineers, and quality assurance teams to understand key delivery dependencies.
You will facilitate technical discussions, communicate complex issues, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to achieve the program and project objectives/success criteria.
You will assume responsibility and accountability for your decisions, processes, and the team involved in your program and project work.
You will lead software development projects of various sizes and complexities with overlapping/competing timelines from initiation to release, leveraging Agile or hybrid frameworks.
You will collaborate with technology teams across the organization to secure resource and project commitments to ensure that projects meet objectives and timelines.
You will create and manage project plans, conduct reviews, remove impediments, and manage change controls.
You will manage project financials, including alignment to budget, forecast, and actuals.
You will manage and escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes that impede project delivery.
You will ensure projects comply with the organization's Project Management Methodology, compliance and controls, and maintain quality project artifacts.
You will partner with one or more Scrum Masters to ensure scrum teams are aligned to the overall program scope, schedule, and budget.
You will schedule and chair effective meetings with appropriate attendees, agendas, timely minutes, and follow-up.
You will establish a baseline communication plan and deliver timely communications that are appropriately tailored to audiences.
You will achieve project goals by collaborating with stakeholders at all management levels across the organization, including architects and strategists, technical IT subject matter experts, business partners, vendors, and senior management.
You will demonstrate skills in conflict management and negotiation to achieve project goals and to develop trust with stakeholders.
You will foster teamwork while promoting a culture of openness and flexibility.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualification
•10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
•Expertise in managing the implementation of extensive SDLC programs is highly desired.
•Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum events and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
•Proficient in communicating complex technical and business issues/solutions to various organizational levels, both internally and externally.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong teamwork, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
•Adept at delegating tasks, ensuring successful task completion, and influencing without direct authority to achieve necessary goals.
•Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to manage complex issues and situations effectively.
•Ability to work independently and integrate seamlessly with other teams when necessary.
•PMP certification is a plus.
•Background in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) as well as project management, reporting, and Agile tools including Tableau, JIRA, Rally, MS Project, Clarity PPM, SharePoint, and Confluence.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,400.00 to 191,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
