Job Description

Senior Manager Small Business Solutions Specialist on the US Small Business Client Enablement team. The team collaborates with financial institutions and partners that issue Visa Small Business Credit and Debit products and supporting platforms, aiming to optimize the value of their small business portfolios.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for a specific group of existing clients, focusing on improving portfolio performance and identifying opportunities to sell new Visa products, solutions, and services. They will provide insights on product and market trends, develop growth strategies, and create strategic recommendations to drive profitable growth for both Visa and the clients.

The Senior Manager will be the primary Small Business lead for their portfolio of clients, with support from Senior Directors on the team. The role requires strong collaboration and influencing skills, as the team works closely with both internal and external partners in a matrix environment.

Essential Functions:

Serve as lead subject matter expert for assigned portfolio of key Small Business credit and debit issuer clients.

Drive issuer education and engagement in Visa Small Business strategy, including product offerings and initiatives across all market segments.

Identify and close new Small Business Sales opportunities within the clients, including new products, platforms, partnerships, and services.

Develop and deliver ongoing portfolio management and reviews to issuer clients, including analysis of business metrics, portfolio performance, and issuer-specific findings and recommendations.

Collaborate with stakeholders within the Visa ecosystem to support the development of new Small Business product and platform enhancements.

Manage relationships with Account Executive teams and lead cross-functional teams, including Visa Consulting and Analytics, Marketing consulting, Client Services, Visa Research, and others to develop and execute strategic plans.

Lead the development and growth of strategic partnerships and other relationships, working with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive the value of Small Business.

Oversee co-brand related efforts, including driving the value of Visa Small business with potential and existing merchant Cobrand partners.

Lead various ad-hoc internal projects as assigned, which may include product launch or expansion, RFP responses, and portfolio optimization.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
-8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications
-9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
-5 to 7 years experience in card payments industry
-MBA or equivalent strongly preferred with 10 years experience in product sales or portfolio management and product marketing disciplines
-Ability to interpret data and translate findings into strategic insights and actionable recommendations
-Strong analytical skills and business case development experience
-Proven relationship based sales and business development skills
-Experience presenting to and building relationships with senior management level audiences both internally and externally
-Ability to identify and lead sales process both formal and informal
-Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross functional areas to influence and achieve consensus on goals and objectives
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills interpersonal skills
-Excellent planning, organizational and problem solving skills
-Demonstrated ability to work independently to drive results
-Strong business acumen
-Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Skills
-Up to 25 percent travel

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 182,500 to 237,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
