We are seeking a Program Manager to join the Military Talent Programs team, embedded in Visa’s Global Talent Acquisition team. This Program Manager will play a key role in managing the Talent Attraction pillar as part of Visa’s new military hiring program.

In this role you will be expected to stand-up and manage recruitment-focused initiatives, tools and events to increase military representation and evangelize Visa’s military employer brand externally. This highly visible and critical work will positively impact hundreds of new military-affiliated hires and existing employees.

To lead the program with integrity and influence, the ideal candidate should also be a veteran, military spouse, reservist, guardsmen or ally who has prior experience engaging with and advocating for the military community in a professional setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner closely with external vendors, internal I&D teams, gov’t workforce development programs, recruiting leaders and hiring teams to identify appropriate recruiting events,
  • Build an annual calendar of military recruiting events, updating monthly and as needed to align with hiring goals,
  • Coordinate all recruiting event details and logistics, including branded assets, schedules, pre-briefs, debriefs, speakers, content, and staffing,
  • Work with Visa’s Talent Attraction & Recruitment Marketing team manage all military employment branding workstreams: design and order materials for events, execute updates to the career site and other digital assets, research & propose new content to enhance our recruiting efforts and reach, support targeted & campaigns, 
  • Partner with Employee Referral Program leaders to conduct regular military referral campaigns with hiring teams and ERGs, and wok with I&D leads to executive sourcing events to increase top-of-funnel military-affiliated candidate representation,
  • Leverage Talent Intelligence data to make recommendations to recruiters and TA leads to increase top-of-funnel military-affiliated candidate representation,
  • Create program goals, measure progress, and report results to stakeholders and executive sponsors (net promoter score, hiring manager satisfaction score, conversion metrics, etc.),
  • Strengthen your team through best practices and by mentoring others,
  • Apply leadership skills to all programmatic work and communications with others to create a program experience that people want to be a part of.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant work experience (recruiting, program management, talent management, workforce development) with a bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
Military-affiliation (Veteran, Reservist, Military spouse, or National Guard) or deep subject matter expertise in military talent acquisitions and programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Prior experience with a global technology company and/or leading veteran service organization
Prior experience working independently to lead and manage complex projects with multiple workstreams across stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
Demonstrated ability to convey key insights with data, strong storytelling capability, including building compelling narratives in PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and achieve in-depth understanding of complex processes and systems
Effective leadership qualities, ability to influence without direct management authority
Experience managing conflict to achieve project goals

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $94,800 to $123,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
