Job Description

Client Services provides industry-leading operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we are a key internal partner to product and technology, bringing the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services, and enabling our client facing teams to deliver and scale new products in the market.

This role is an individual contributor, responsible for managing infrastructure related projects with mid to high complexity, along with applying independent judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations. Primary responsibilities include providing project management support to Visanet Endpoint clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers).

Essential Function

  • Provide implementation project support to Visa Endpoint clients (financial institutions and processors) operating in the NA region, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate directly with clients to understand their program setup requirements, facilitate new program installations, conversions and maintenance requests without operational impact.
  • Manage a wide variety of project initiatives, primarily with Visanet Endpoint clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers), using Project Management best practices and skills.
  • Coordinate efforts with other internal and external project resources to ensure deliverables and commitments are met.
  • Work closely with Visa’s technology and product teams to understand new business initiatives, as well as impact on current and new client programs.
  • Manage non-routine, complex processing and change requests, related to tactical and strategic client initiatives.
  • Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness, and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Build and enhance positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project Artifacts, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, issues logs in support of client projects and/or initiatives. Apply Visa processes and approaches to be in line with client requirements.
  • Manage internal and external project communications (meeting minutes, dashboards, etc.), providing regular and consistent updates to appropriate parties.
  • Report on client project accomplishments and deliverables to management and different stakeholders.
  • Provide training to internal and/or cross-functional teams, as applicable.
  • This position requires off scheduled work including late evenings / weekends in support of client and company configuration changes and associated post-production validation.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • PMP certification.
  • Proven abilities in negotiating with and influencing clients and staff at all levels as well as the ability to successfully manage competing priorities while serving as a positive influence across the organization.
  • Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
  • Excellent time management, organization, problem solving and planning skills are essential.
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex technical issues and apply business solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management.
  • • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical terms or processes into business language.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply to business solutions.
  • Proficiency providing technical and consultative support to external customers and identifying business needs.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 106,700.00 to 138,600.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
