About the role

As a Operations Project Co-ordinator, you will be working under the mentorship of the Transaction Monitoring Operations Manager. Your main role will be to lead and implement projects focused on improving the operations of the Transaction Monitoring team, which includes real-time transaction screening and retrospective account monitoring teams (30+ FTE, servicing CC’s 650+ global clients).

• Implementing strategic changes across people, process, and system through projects aimed at operational excellence and enhancing customer experience.
• Collaborating with other Compliance and/or operational teams on cross-functional improvement projects, specifically focusing on shared systems and processes.
• Managing all operational projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of strategic changes.
• Crafting and maintaining project plans that outline operational requirements, budget, deliverables, timescales, dependencies, and risks.

The ideal candidate will

• Have experience managing sophisticated, fast-paced projects with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Have experience crafting and maintaining project plans outlining operational requirements, budget, deliverables, timescales, dependencies, and risks.
• Be adept at diagnosing complex issues into clear problem statements, using data to confirm the scope and ensure the team is consistently approaching the most valuable problems to solve.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, able to clearly communicate complex project requirements, achieve stakeholder buy-in, and keep stakeholders updated on project progress.
• Have an optimisation mentality, continually tuning team processes and systems to deliver efficient and seamless workflows.
• Be a self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done.
• Be passionate about growing others and yourself. An interest for continuous improvement and coaching analysts to propose and implement bottom-up systems and process optimisations.
• Have exceptional structure and attention to detail.
• Be comfortable working in a scale-up or growth environment and challenging the status quo.
