Visa is looking for an accomplished leader for Commercialization and Experiences in the Global Installments & Embedded Finance team focused on Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) portfolio and Visa Multi-Account Access Service (VMAAS) with a passion for commercializing and shaping the next generation of payment products. This leader will be responsible for shaping the commercialization strategy, driving roadmap for marketing and design assets, and executing on deliverables that matter most for regional teams. In this role you will also be responsible to determine the right product positioning, commercialization strategy, and experience/design metrics. This is a people leader role and will have two focus areas in the team – a. commercial enablement and support for our clients and partners and b. design and experience analytics for optimal e2e experience for clients and end-users.

This role reports to the VP of Global Installments & Embedded Finance (A&S) and has high visibility to the senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global commercialization and experience analytics strategy in partnership with global marketing and design teams.
  • Shape the new product positioning and strategy and develop a roadmap for commercialization assets to enable regions.
  • Manage sales pipeline of clients and partners – in collaboration with global product leads and regions, identify opportunities for accelerating time to market.
  • Leverage data-driven insights for user experience analytics closely collaborating with Data Sciences and Design teams to enhance product conversion rates.
  • Lead new focus on client e2e experiences with emphasis on sales efficiency metrics (such as Time to PV) for accelerating pipeline enablement.
  • Develop assets and commercial frameworks that drive accelerated product adoption Manage GTM playbooks for design and marketing for BNPL products and VMAAS solutions.   
  • Shape Visa’s competitive responses, while collaborating with stakeholders across regions/markets and functional leadership.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration for product commercialization strategy and value propositions. Work closely with regional teams to understand support gaps that exist in commercialization and product usage, and create a roadmap to accelerate adoption.
  • Analyze product performance with feature launches with partners, develop and present insights, and inform future strategy with data insights. Share responsibilities with product leaders to enhance Visa’s BNPL portfolio performance
  • Be a thought leader for the payments ecosystem to represent and educate benefits to consumers. Partner with leadership and regional teams to drive communication and execution on shared vision.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, Masters/MBA/JD is a plus
  • Prior experience in product management, strategy, and solution commercialization
  • Prior experience in Network or Issuer organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of work experience with a deep understanding of installments ecosystem and experience building payment/network products
  • Deep understanding of installments ecosystem and experience building payment/network products
  • Proven leadership capabilities including strong thought leadership, effective decision making, and passion for driving payments innovation
  • Experience working with digital partners and issuers/clients, including deep understanding of their business models
  • High degree of comfort with C-level communications. Excellent problem solving skills with a strong focus on client success. Comfortable making decisions with limited data
  • Experience developing a strong bench of talent from within and recruit talent that can inject new perspectives
  • Technical depth to breakdown technical complexity and drive problems to conclusion with Product Management team as well as clients
  • Tenacity and ability to build from scratch and comfortable with ambiguity
  • MBA, background in consulting and tech investments

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 10-15% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 181,800.00 to 250,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
