Job Description
Visa is seeking a forward-thinking, results-oriented professional to serve as our Global Head of Early Careers TA and Programs. This role is ideal for a TA professional who thrives in and embraces a culture of transformation. In this dynamic role, you will shape our global early talent acquisition strategy, leveraging innovative technology and driving performance against objectives and key results (OKRs). To enable Visa to meet our ambitious business goals, you will Lead the Global Early Careers Advisory Board, collaborate with Global and Regional Early Careers Leaders, partner with internal and external stakeholders and champion diversity and inclusion in our workforce.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Architect and execute a dynamic global early careers TA strategy that aligns with Visa's ambitious talent priorities, business needs, and global growth goals.
Spearhead early career programs, including internships, graduate programs, rotational programs, apprenticeships and alternative pathways across diverse geographies and functions.
Build strategic relationships with colleges/universities, faculty, industry organizations, sourcing partners and TA vendors positioning Visa as the employer of choice and driving diversity and inclusion.
Manage and mentor a high-performing team of early careers leaders, managers, sourcers, recruiters, program managers and early career coordinators, fostering professional growth and development in adherence with Visa’s Leadership Principles.
Lead the Global Early Careers Advisory Board in governance of early careers practices, increase influence executive leadership has on long-term junior workforce development, and cultivate innovative early talent practices that prepare Visa to thrive through current and future workforce challenges.
Collaborate with Global and Regional Early Careers Leaders, aligning strategies to ensure a consistent approach to early career talent acquisition with justified deviation for market specific needs.
Partner with business leaders and People Team colleagues to drive short and long-term workforce planning process, develop targeted recruiting strategies, and align talent acquisition with business goals.
Ensure all talent acquisition initiatives align with enterprise, talent, and Talent Acquisition OKRs, driving performance and results.
Be a trailblazer in the use of innovative technology enablement tools to advance our talent acquisition efforts.
Champion diversity and inclusion, implementing strategies to attract, hire, train and retain a diverse pool of talent.
Harness data and analytics to drive insights, make informed talent decisions, and measure the effectiveness of our early careers recruiting and programs results.
Thrive within a matrixed organization, influencing stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
Stay ahead of the curve on trends and developments in early careers recruiting, skills based TA, and early career programs, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful, innovative early careers recruiting strategies and programs on a global scale.
- Experience in a global talent acquisition leadership role, with demonstrated ability to manage and drive improvements across regions and cultures.
- The ability to navigate and succeed within a matrixed organization.
- Experience with innovative technology enablement tools and a passion for leveraging technology to advance talent acquisition efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in and embrace a culture of transformation.
- Proven success in achieving diversity workforce goals and creating an inclusive work environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a high-performing, dispersed team.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- A deep understanding of global hiring practices, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 154,500.00 to 212,500.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
