Job Description

Visa’s Global Sales Enablement and Analytics Team is responsible for shaping the vision and executing the strategy for building transformational sales capabilities, including tools, collateral, and insights that will help accelerate the commercialization of Visa’s products and solutions for Merchants and Acquirers.

 

The Sr. Program Manager, Global Sales Enablement & Analytics will be primarily responsible for developing automated, scalable, executive dashboards to deliver key sales and client insights to drive business decisions and unlock revenue potentials for the Global Merchant Sales and Acquiring organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Report to Director of Sales Analytics.  Work as an integral team to set measurable objectives to expand the usership of sales analytics reports and tools.
  • Build close relationship with key stakeholders including sales, regional business operations, and finance.  Understand their business needs.  Articulate a product roadmap for BI tools to meet stakeholder requirements, with clearly defined deliverables and release schedule.
  • Own the development effort for a central client hub that provides a 360-degree view of clients by incorporating sales performance, payment volume and revenue information from various sources, e.g., Hadoop/Hive, Denodo, Excel files etc., to generate powerful, scalable dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Generate powerful data visualizations that 'tell a story', including identifying preliminary trends and themes in the data.Be obsessed with data accuracy.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and stakeholders, to monitor the changes of data quality, and provide suggestions to the Director of Sales Analytics on continuous data improvement.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of dashboard usability.  Maintain occasional user access changes, provide training and support to end-users on how to best use with dashboards and reports to solve their business issues.
  • On occasions, the Senior Manager might also be asked to support the Client Analytics team with some enhancement requests depending on overall initiatives and demands.
  • The ideal candidate is adept at organizing and leading cross-functional initiatives and is motivated by both independent and collaborative problem solving and analytic excellence. They will demonstrate individual resourcefulness and a drive to get things done with a collaborative, ‘make it happen’ approach.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, PhD, JD, MD).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years work experience in sales, sales operations, business strategy, or consulting
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics sales performance reporting and dashboards. Supporting a B2B sales organization is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Tableau, Power BI and other BI Reporting Tools. Familiarity database tools e.g., SQL Server, Hadoop (Hive), and Denodo.
  • Experience in Python, Spark, and exposure to scheduling tools like M-Control is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills for multiple projects as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
  • Demonstrate decisive but inclusive decision-making ability in a fast-paced multi-work stream environment.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, with a strong understanding of business data requirements.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for product, program, and process improvement.
  • Ability to interpret business issues and recommends best practices.
  • Experience in researching and analyzing key business drivers, trends and operating metrics is highly preferred.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,700.00 to 192,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
