Job Description
The Risk & Identity Solutions (RaIS) Product Development is a key component of the Visa Value Added Services Product Development organization. The RaIS team provides consumer authentication solutions involving verification of identity and user authentication to enable secure, low friction payment experience. Team also provides valuable risk insights that translate into actionable responses by credit card issuers and payment processors to prevent payment fraud. The solutions are extensively used by card issuers, merchants and acquirers on subscription basis and there is a constant increase in adoption across the globe. Our application development is on the cutting edge of technology, and we are viewed as innovative leaders within our industry.
Our scrum masters are highly visible leaders, building bridges across Visa to ensure projects are effectively developed, integrated and deployed with quality and on time delivery into our production systems. Our home-grown methodology is aligned with Scaled Agile (SAFe) and helps ensure delivery of prioritized features on a predictable quarterly cadence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key resource to lead/support end-to-end planning and execution of one or more projects and/or Agile teams that are part of a larger program. Contribute to and facilitate negotiations on scope, schedule, budget, risks, releases and communications.
Coach multiple teams through the software development life cycle using Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices and work cross-functionally throughout the company to ensure projects are developed and deployed with quality and timely delivery into our production systems.
Ask thoughtful questions to help our customers, product owners, and product managers to maximize ROI and meet company objectives. Understand product strategy and benefits of key deliverables in area of responsibility.
Work with product owner to promote and contribute to the improvement of the product backlog
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies
Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
Coach team in estimation techniques
Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences
Track and remove impediments for the team
Develop metrics and reports using Jira to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals
Lead and coach team in its Agile adoption
Lead Agile release planning
Ensure clear communication and collaboration among the Product Owner and members of the Development team
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
•2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• 1+ years relevant Program/Project Management experience
• Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Delivery, Pairing, Automated Testing
• Good prioritization, negotiation and communication skills
• Experience with other Lean/Agile framework and methods, i.e.: Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Decisive but inclusive decision making in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with light supervision
• Proficient in at least one agile project management tool: Rally, Jira, Version One, etc.
• SAFe certification preferred but not required.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 102,300.00 to 130,500.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
