Job Description
We are seeking an experienced People Manager to support our Global Client Testing and Payment Transaction Simulators. This role will involve managing a team responsible for testing payment transaction simulators, regression testing of API services, DCAS, Risk, and Forward. The successful candidate will also provide support for all the tool sets needed by Visa DPS to facilitate client testing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of testers, providing guidance, feedback, and motivation to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the testing of payment transaction simulators, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and effectively.
- Manage the regression testing of API services, DCAS, Risk, and Forward, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
- Support all the tool sets needed by Visa DPS to facilitate client testing, providing technical assistance when necessary.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and procedures to ensure all systems are thoroughly evaluated and validated.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of payment transaction simulators and testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide regular reports on team performance, testing processes, and system issues.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a testing environment.
- Strong knowledge of payment transaction simulators, API services, DCAS, Risk, and Forward.
- Excellent understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with the tool sets needed by Visa DPS to facilitate client testing.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 121,000.00 to 157,300.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
