Job Description

Visa’s Corporate FP&A team is seeking a motivated and highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to drive the decision support, planning, analytics and reporting for Visa Inc Operating Expenses. Our team supports Visa’s senior executives, as well as the broader FP&A organization throughout the world. This position will also have exposure to the full Visa Inc P&L and work with External Reporting, Controllership, Treasury and Investor Relations.

Essential functions:

  • Support in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, financial reporting, reviews of key financial metrics
  • Support in creating Visa Inc quarterly Board and Earnings materials
  • Provide analytical support for Visa Inc executive requested ad hoc analysis focused on expenses and overall P&L
  • Support in Corporate Expense Annual Targets, Multi-year strategy planning
  • Visa Inc headcount reporting and analytics
  • Prepare insightful views related to financial considerations to potential business decisions
  • Participate in company-wide projects related to headcount and finance system improvements
  • Build and maintain relationships with finance business partners across the organization in support of Planning and Reporting processes
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency; create and maintain job aid documentation for the end users to ensure continuity
  • Proactively contribute to new reporting development and improve quality and presentation of existing reporting
  • Expand scope overtime to support various corporate analysis including but not limited to assisting in corporate expense targets, multi-year strategy planning, executive ad-hoc expense analysis, participating in company-wide projects related to expense and finance system improvements

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Economics, International Business or related field
  • Expert level Excel and advanced degree of proficiency with Hyperion/TM1 reporting systems preferred; knowledge of Tableau is a bonus
  • Experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Public Accounting preferred
  • Superior technical, quantitative and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, and presentational skills and ability to interact at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work "smarter not harder" and apply creative solutions to complex problems
  • Team player, ability to effectively interact with the other team members and managers effectively

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 118,500.00 to 154,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
