JOB SCOPE

The Product Analyst, Global SMB will join the Emerging Solutions and Innovation group within the SMB product Team. The group will play a central role in advancing our Small Business Innovation roadmap. Using a broad skillset, the candidate will support existing initiatives vital to Visa including Virtual Card and Digital Value added services in support of the strategy. As part of these efforts, the candidate will be instrumental in driving product developments  with suppliers/partners to deliver an enhanced Visa Business Solutions Digital Solutions’ set . As an Analyst for Global Products and Platforms, this role will be directly focused on managing existing Visa 3rd party built propositions and building a pipeline of Visa propositions internally or externally built as well as ensuring a smooth go to market .  The role will work with Visa Technology, Business Services, and extended VBS Global and Regional teams to deliver functionality to meet issuer and small business needs. In addition the analyst will own the go-to-market for all of the products owned by the group as well as the communications of the group cross functionally to the rest of the organization (e.g. Newsletter).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the Digital products and propositions value to lead the voice of the communication for the team
• Work with internal and external teams and partners to analyze data points, conduct research and understand industry drivers and trends
• Collaborate with Visa’s Regional teams located in different time zones and with differing cultures to understand local payment landscapes in order to deliver small business Emerging products and solutions
• Lead the wider Emerging Solutions Team on the Go-to-market for key initiatives and work to further expand Visa’s global market share in the Small Business Space
• Manage special projects and drive our roadmap by collaborating with cross functional groups including legal, privacy, product, IT, analytics, and business development teams.
• Stay current with payments and small business industry and client trends and deliver content to support Visa’s thought Leadership in Small Business Innovation
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Visa products and services.
• Develop a deep expertise in all Visa Small Business products to demonstrate industry leadership across small business products (including market-driven knowledge)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Aptitude to think creatively and solve challenges
• Have a global and inclusive mindset and be open to collaboration
• Experience in product lifecycle management and innovation preferred
• Adept problem solver and proficiency in synthesizing data into meaningful and digestible data points
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively (verbal and written) ideas, issues, and recommendations.

• Must be proficient in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
• Strong, proven ability to multi-task

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 94,700.00 to 120,700.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
