We focus on advancing financial inclusion and economic growth for billions of people and millions of businesses across global communities by developing global and regionally adaptable strategies, products, programs and initiatives.

The Strategy Analyst will be a member of the global growth strategy & social impact team, which is responsible for driving sustainable growth for Visa.

Job Scope

- Lead and participate in developing strategies, programs and initiatives to drive sustainable growth and financial inclusion in priority Visa markets and segments. Ongoing responsibilities include market analysis, business and social impact case development, development of proposals, and implementation support.

- Structure and solve social and business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of social impact issues. Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visa’s many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development.

- Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic soundness and alignment for any recommendations.

- Work closely with cross-functional, local and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support.

- Develop clear and concise executive level communications. Communicate recommendations in a clear, concise and impactful way.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA degree from top-tier institution or similar academic/professional experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Ability to develop content independently and prioritize work flow with limited supervision, to manage projects and with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently and ability to adapt to changes in priorities quickly.
- Ability to participate in complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at levels.
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to model.
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with functional and regional leaders within Visa.
- Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,200.00 to 127,800.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
