Job Description

  • Coordinating events/webinars strategy and execution for local programs.

  • Collaborating with external vendors and internal partners to produce event materials

  • Manage event tech platform from set-up to post-event, including working with internal teams to report on event metrics

  • Managing  all event-related administration like email invitations, social posts, and follow up emails.

  • Ensuring events are produced on schedule according to annual plan

  • Managing a events calendar to ensure alignment locally

  • Ensuring quality, clarity, consistency and alignment to Visa’s business and reputational goals for all communications

  • Being hands-on with all aspects of events and other communications as needed. You will also partner with agencies to make sure they’re doing the same

  • Manage transports of roll ups, merchandises etc. to venue.

  • Be on the venue, prior and during the events to take care of practical things that occur

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more of relevant work experience is required. A relevant degree within the field is a plus.
• Primary focus of your work has been in corporate events, preferably B2B and/or virtual webinars or
video production
• You are a results-oriented professional with 5+ years of proven experience in event strategy and
production.
• Demonstrated experience managing and executing events small and large.
• You have a strong track record of creating and managing all aspects of events from invitations to
budget planning, speaker prep, rehearsals to consistent messaging throughout.
• You have the ability to build and nurture cross-functional relationships and foster partnerships. High
degree of professionalism, courtesy and respect
• You have proven experience managing programs and vendors to deliver efficient output and results
• You have excellent project management expertise. Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines and
internal and external resources
• You master good and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple projects, often
on short deadlines and under pressure
• You have experience from working with vendor onboarding, procurement, supplier management and
billing.
