Job Description
Verifi, Inc., a Visa company, is currently hiring for a collaborative team-oriented Strategic Account Manager, Channel Partnerships with a deep passion for strengthening relationships and collaborations with our reseller partners.
You’ll drive successful Channel Partner Relationships and portfolio growth by:
Building and maintaining relationships with key personnel for global partner accounts; including C-Level; developing rapport and act as subject matter expert on partner to internal stakeholders
Proactively leading partner account planning process to develop mutual performance objectives; revenue targets and identify critical initiatives
Successfully upselling new products and services, including tracking and reporting status of opportunities in Salesforce
Leading revenue generating contract negotiations, propose pricing strategies for product expansion and contract renewals
Developing and driving strategy with Verifi stakeholders by creating proposal/solutions and effectively addressing partner issues and objectives
Enhancing value-based solutions by providing partner with industry and product thought leadership
Responsible for managing day-to-day activities related to support; troubleshooting and performance of products and services on behalf of assigned portfolio
Coordinating go-to-market plans including Co-Brand materials, partner communications, joint marketing, sales training, lead qualification and referral process
Participating in partner business/performance reviews with direct management and upon request with senior management
Representing voice of the partner; escalating and bringing issues, concerns, trends, feedback to attention of direct management and stakeholders
Participating in planning and execution of Verifi client events
Supporting additional duties and moderate traveling, as required
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• At least 7+ years’ experience with channel partnership management, sales, and business development coupled with an in-depth understanding of the payments and card issuing industries
• Strong background expanding revenue stream via upselling, including tracking and reporting status of opportunities
• Demonstrated ability creating successful business relationships and managing multiple initiatives at any given time
• Familiar with Card Schemes, Merchant, Acquirer structure globally (NA, LAC, EMEA and APAC)
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Experience solving client issues, investigating solutions, and coordinating responses
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with the demonstrated ability to provide innovative ideas, sound decision-making and critical thinking skills to inspire customer loyalty and adoption
• Professional, powerful and convincing communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical abilities and strategic orientation, including experience with making recommendations to optimize performance and reporting on these, as needed
• Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross-functional relationships
• Ability to contribute to a fast-paced collaborative team environment
• Ability to travel to on-site meetings, industry and company events
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically with Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 177,900.00 to 231,300.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
