What's it all about?
In-car technology, the shift to sustainable travel and the regulatory transition are redefining the way fleets operate. In addition, the move towards Smart Cities is changing the way employers address mobility solutions to their employees. Within Visa, the Fleet and Business Mobility team are partnering with existing Energy Co’s and new mobility providers to develop solutions which meet the needs of commercial fleets today and tomorrow. This role is to develop, implement and innovate Visa’s product set for key clients in order to drive sales and revenue. In addition, bringing together the best solutions Visa has to offer in these segments and supporting the next wave of innovation!
What we expect you to do, day to day.
Partner with key clients to determine solution requirements. Build and deploy relevant products to address client needs with Visa technology. Partner with sales, cluster and global product teams
Be able to work collaboratively with teams across Europe and Globally.
Support the sales cycle and take clients through the implementation stage to product launch and evaluation
Be a thought leader and champion of innovation. Understand client needs and their corporate objectives across Mobility and Fleet and be able to translate these objectives into product design, and innovation roadmaps. Be able to apply payments expertise across B2B use cases.
Develop and lead Visa’s thought leadership and marketing across Fleet and B2B Mobility, representing Visa at industry forums and events
Lead Visa’s strategy and approach in the fleet Electric Vehicle charging segment, leading the shift from close loop to open loop payments whilst developing Visa’s in car payment capabilities
This is a highly commercial role with a focus on product and customer profitability. The role requires that you develop an understanding of issuer economics to determine profitability, how products are targeted and launched, the opportunities in multi-channel product sales, and how marketing campaigns are designed, implemented and the results are analysed against investment objectives.
Have a detailed understanding of all elements of Visa products across Issuing and acquiring. Have a good understanding of interchange and how to shape products for clients in different markets.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
What we’re after…
• Experience in fleet or mobility or cards/payments with a track record in developing new strategies and sales partnerships
• Senior level experience with the ability and appetite to quickly learn about this vertical.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
• Be open minded and excited about future technologies, willing to learn and work in a multi-cultural environment
• Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Effective influencing and communication skills to secure buy-in from clients and stakeholders
• A team player who is able to develop strong internal and external relationships ensuring uptake and delivery of Visa solutions
• Educated to Master degree level or equivalent is desirable
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are critical. Ideally, you will be comfortable representing Visa in public forums, and reflecting the Visa values. One or more European languages is a plus. The ability to travel across Europe for internal and external meetings and pitches when required.
