Job Description

This individual will be part of the North America Business Operations team (NA Ops), reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Excellence and supporting sales management across regional sales organizations. As an integral member of the team responsible for Sales Platforms and Business Intelligence, this individual contributor will drive key organizational learnings through critical discovery, analyses and presentation of sales pipeline, related sales activities and client performance data.  They will consult with, and support business unit operations leads in driving relevant sales metrics harmonized around global sales methodologies.  They will also explore and define ways to leverage supplemental business reporting platforms and sources of truth to drive business intelligence reporting efficiencies and insights.

The ideal candidate is motivated by analytic excellence, and by both independent and collaborative problem solving.  They are thoughtful and curious with a desire to make an impact, and are comfortable navigating a complex, matrixed business environment. They can easily adapt to and build reporting structures across business intelligence platforms, while synthesizing and presenting relevant, data-driven insights.

 

Key goals and responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional and business unit stakeholders to insightfully present sales activity relative to business unit goals. Advise on improvements to data architecture where reporting gaps exists. Continuously explore opportunities to improve access to and visualization of key client and sales performance data

- Deliver reporting & analysis including executive reporting, progress and forecast against KPIs, product pipeline performance, and other ad hoc reports

- Drive evolution of Business Intelligence reporting suite, exploring ways to aggregate sources of truth.

- Maintain data integrity and identify ways to improve usage of CRM through discovery of data inconsistencies and establishment of robust data hygiene protocols

- Independently drive relevant data analyses and reporting from multiple platforms, manipulate substantial CRM and Tableau data

- Drive regional compliance against key auditable sales processes.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, comfortable with system-related and organizational ambiguity
- Team player with a willingness to pitch in on a variety of projects and deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas into clear, effective, and compelling executive-level presentations
- Ability to collaborate across stakeholders and drive consensus
- Interest in developing rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills
- Highly proficient in Tableau or Power BI, working knowledge of Hadoop and/or SQL a plus, highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, working knowledge of SalesForce or MS Dynamics is a major plus
- Motivated to develop an understanding of Visa’s approach to selling products and improving sales efficiency

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 118,500.00 to 154,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
