Job Description
This role is primarily responsible for assisting with collections of past due customer accounts for CyberSource, a division of Visa. Visa is looking for an Associate Financial Analyst with the ability and willingness to learn and assist with revenue operations processes – primarily the collections and balance resolution processes but will be involved in other processes as well. This position requires the ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate must be able to work with external clients and internal partners.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with sales, customer support, and other internal functions to resolve balances, strong interpersonal skills are required
Contact customers with past due balances by email and phone to request payment and resolve balances, including providing invoices, statements or other documentation to customers
Interact professionally and calmly with customers who dispute balances
Understand collections processes, timelines and appropriate practices across multiple geographies and business units
Understand contract and pricing arrangements with customers to verify balances are correct and collections efforts are in accordance with the contract
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously & meet deadlines, which involves strong planning, organization, and problem solving skills
Work comfortably and independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience
Strong collections experience, 5+ years preferred
Strong customer support experience and attitude
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Must be comfortable working with a heavy volume of data
Detail-oriented, self-starter, with proven ability to work independently and in a cross-functional environment with minimal supervision
Ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines and accustom to a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment to drive results
Ability to contribute new ideas and solutions for current processes and to address business challenges
Strong organizational and project management skills, Abilities to plan, organize, and adapt within a multi-tasking environment, requiring simultaneous management of multiple issues and projects
Self-motivated and be willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems
Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in an e-commerce environment with an understanding of payment industry is a plus
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 55,200.00 to 70,400.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
