Job Description
The Product Manager, Strategy will play a central role in advancing our Payables product strategy. The role will be responsible for supporting the development of the strategy and then translating that strategy into a product roadmap and set of detailed requirements. The role will lead the execution of the product development lifecycle, from inception to product launch.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying gaps in current market offerings and an innovative mindset for filling those gaps. This individual should possess strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to lead the full lifecycle of product development. The role will work closely with VCS Global and Regional teams, the LMM Vertical team, and technology teams to deliver functionality to meet key customer needs and create competitive advantage for Visa.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Payables and Virtual Cards, Visa Commercial Solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate payables solution alternatives in the market and benchmark against our current offering
Analyze customer needs, market trends, identify product gaps and seek opportunities for competitive differentiation
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and validate product hypotheses, including build/partner/buy alternatives
Translate product strategy into a product roadmap and detailed requirements for development
Develop prototypes and/or POC to test in market
Lead the execution of product development through to product launch
Develop pricing framework(s) and new/updated rules as needed with relevant cross-functional stakeholders
Support development of product strategy documents that describe use cases, revenue, ROI, and technical requirements
Support preparation of presentation materials for business reviews, management events, and team meetings
Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and verticals teams to support the development of sales, marketing and other GTM materials
Manage product related reporting, including success metrics and ad hoc reporting needs
Stay current with industry and client trends
Work with virtual teams located in different time zones and with differing cultures
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualficiations:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of six years of experience in product management or product development
Highly effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve mutual goals
Strong business acumen and a global mindset
Results-oriented focused, analytic with a fact-based consultative discipline
Exceptional writing and presentation skills
Self-starter, able to work independently in a matrixed environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as MS Teams and JIRA

Work Authorization:

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-25% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 130,800.00 to 170,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
